Just insert into USB connection and download the application. It is even daisy chainable to older FCE and I assume FC models. I connected it to one new model FCE 65000 and daisy chained it to one older model FCE 6500, then the older model I daisy chained to an older FCE 4800. Now all three are app. controlled! No need for any timers! It also controls brightness of all three lights!

After having used one since July the connection has been very stable. Basic settings work great. The light even comes back after power interrupts. This is my 2nd IConnect and was included in my Black Friday purchase a few months back.
