  • pH Down Explanation: pH is a measure of how acidic or alkaline a substance is. The pH range for soil growing should ideally be between 6.0 to 6.5, while hydroponics should aim for a pH level between 5.5 and 6.0. Maintaining the correct pH level enhances the accessibility of nutrients to the plant. Either excessively high or low pH levels may lead to the accumulation or deficiency of certain mineral elements in the soil. If the pH is too high, you can lower it using SUPERthrive pH Down 1-5-0. A pH of 7.0 is regarded as neutral, while a value lower than this is considered acidic and a higher value is deemed alkaline.
  • Application Rates: Before adding the nutrient solution, use a pH meter to assess the acidity or alkalinity of the water. If the pH is more than 6.5, incorporate pH Down to the nutrient solution in increments of ½ tsp. per gallon until the desired pH is achieved.
  • Nutrient Analysis: This product contains Total Nitrogen (N) of 1.0%, Nitrate (NO3) also of 1.0%, and Phosphorus (P2O5) of 5.0%.

  • Order Shipment:
  • We offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders in the USA and currently only service the lower 48 states.
