Description

NatureVac all-clear vacuum-seal bag rolls can be cut to the length needed for each item. Each box contains 2 rolls, each 11 inches wide and 19.5 feet long. Both sides are clear for product visibility.

The supplier describes the rolls as keeping food fresh up to 5 times longer. Use them for meats, herbs, seafood, fruits, vegetables, grains, pasta, lentils, cheese, coffee, leftovers and other stored foods.

Features

  • Honeycomb vacuum-sealing technology.
  • Durable material designed to keep moisture and air out, seal in flavor and freshness, reduce freezer burn and contain odors.
  • Compatible with NatureVac sealers and most other brands.
  • Made without BPA (bisphenol A).

Make and seal a bag

  1. Measure the item and allow 5 extra inches of bag length for vacuuming and sealing.
  2. Seal one end of the cut material to form a bag.
  3. Fill the bag with the contents.
  4. Insert the open end into a NatureVac vacuum sealer or compatible machine, then vacuum and seal normally.

Heating and handling

  • Stored foods may be reheated to the boiling point in the bag, or microwaved after the bag is pierced.
  • Before heating cooked foods or defrosting food in the microwave, cut a small slit in the bag.
  • Monitor the bag while heating it on the stove. Keep at least 1 inch of water around it so that it does not touch the bottom or sides of the pot.
  • Follow U.S. food-safety guidelines. Do not reuse a bag after it has held raw meat.
