First allow me to say Mars Hydros service is excellent. They are quick and efficient, and everything went smoothly with the purchase and shipping. Everything was very well packaged and both lights were pristine although I havent fired up the second light yet.
The lights are of excellent quality, and well worth every penny. I did have to upgrade the grow light hangers and wires as the light is pretty hefty, and I almost had a mishap with one of the hangers, so keep that in mind. The light is extremely cool, and little excess heat is produced.
I was able to integrate this into my grow controller via the 0-10v dc RJ12 input used to link multiple lights together. This was was a bonus for me, as I really just wanted to change out my lights, not my complete grow controller and system.
While running the light in a test I noticed it does throttle off at high temps. Im sure the driver has some type of safety protection built in. They started throttling on and off at 95-100 degrees F. ambient room temperature. Im not sure what the actual driver temp was. This has not happened except under extreme duty conditions during installation and 100% output. it only occurred momentarily.***
Im utilizing this light in the 4x6 configuration for small batch medical cannabis in one room, soon to be two 5x8 grow rooms in a SKROG. My growth has been spectacular. Im growing MzJillz AO under these lights and the ladies love it. The vegetative growth has been incredible, and im very satisfied with everything currently. Ill come back for a re-review after flowering.
I didnt purchase the UV/IR lights so I cannot review them, but i wish i had just to compare yields.
All i have to say is keep up the good work Mars!

I am so please with this light! It solved my heat problem inside a tent. Formerly I used 4 of the flat board lights and it was so hot inside the tent my flowers stressed and foxtailed. With this type of light that did not happen. With this light one has the option to put the ballast outside the tent to control the heat inside. It's better to have this type, especially if one needs to control heat. I love the dimmable feature so I can regulate the strength of light at times like the great outdoors. I had the best harvest ever with this light!!
