Description

[US Only] Athena Cuts is a water-based rooting gel for propagating new plants from stem and leaf cuttings of healthy mother plants. Its proprietary blend contains indole-3-butyric acid, a plant hormone that supports abundant root cell development, rapid root generation, and robust growth. The gel coats and seals the tissue around the cut stem to support nutrient and hormone absorption.

Cuts can be used on woody and herbaceous cuttings, including flowers, ornamentals, vegetables, and fruit trees. Its application is suitable for both new and experienced growers.

Application

1. Squeeze a small amount of gel into a separate container.
2. Take new-growth cuttings from a healthy mother plant and trim them to 2–8 inches long.
3. Cut the stem at a 45-degree angle.
4. Dip the cut end into the gel to the desired depth, or keep it immersed in water until ready to dip.
5. After applying the gel, place the cutting in a cloning system or rooting medium.

Roots may appear within a few days or weeks, depending on the variety. Transplant after the cuttings have rooted.

• Do not dip cuttings directly into the original gel container.
• Discard used gel; do not reuse it.
