The 5mil vacuum seal bags effectively block out air and moisture, keeping the freshness intact for a variety of foods like meat, seafood, poultry, fruits, leftover meals, herbs, as well as botanicals. Sturdy and high-quality, ArmorVac bags are 5mil thick featuring both strength and durability while maintaining safety with food grade and BPA free materials.

  • Directions for Use: To best utilize these vacuum seal bags, measure the items that will be stored beforehand making sure there is a 2-inch space between the edges of the bag and its contents for proper vacuum sealing. Once filled with the premeasured contents, insert the open end of the bag into a NatureVac Vacuum Sealer (or any compatible vacuum sealer), vacuum and seal as per normal operations.

  • Reheating and Cooking: The stored foods can be returned to boiling temperature in the bag itself or directly put in the microwave, though a small slit in the vacuum bag is necessary before heating cooked foods or defrosting. For stovetop cooking, monitor the vacuum bag and ensure a water buffer of at least 1-inch is kept between the bag and pot's sides and bottom to prevent direct contact.

  • Safety Measures: ArmorVac bags are developed with FDA approved food safe materials, free of BPA. Still, certain US food safety guidelines are suggested for a safer use. Do not reuse the vacuum bags that stored raw meats, greasy foods or seafood, similarly avoid reusing bags post microwave, steaming, or boiling usage. These bags are not designed for use in an oven or a broiler.
