Submerged and External Placement

External placement is supported after the pump has been primed with water. Fit the front inlet nozzle and washer, connect the inlet tubing into the water, and follow the guide by starting the pump submerged for a few seconds to remove air pockets. Once water flows smoothly, place it on a dry, safe nearby surface. Do not let it run without water for long periods; follow the guide to re-prime if air enters the inlet or outlet.

Keep the EC power box and its ports dry. Route the cord below the outlet to prevent water from entering the socket. Use sturdy tubing, which is not included; soft or weak tubing can bend under pressure. The guide describes automatic shutoff when a blocked vent is sensed and gives cleaning and re-priming steps. Optional smart UIS controllers are sold separately.
