I have an enclosed data closet situated under a set of stairs in my basement. I bought this to cover a passive intake opening at the base of those stairs, installed into the vertical riser of my 2nd stair. On the opposite side of the closet near the ceiling, I installed a T7 Airframe to take hot air off the ceiling, thus pulling cooler air from the floor on the other side via this vent cover. Worked out like a champ to net a 3-4% drop in temps, leaving me hovering around 80F inside the non-climate-controlled closet in the heat of summer. No vent noise, which is no surprise because the vent openings and bar thickness are exceptionally stout. Clearly 3x the quality of other less-expensive passive vents I found, plus the white color of this grille matches standard white trim paint perfectly, included sets of white-painted mounting hardware is icing on the cake. My only complaint? I really wish AC Infinity sold a custom-fit washable filter I could install with this to catch dust coming through the intake BEFORE it gets into my media closet. But that aside, it's nicely finished, well-CNC'd product that matches perfectly with the T7 Airframe and solved a major cooling dilemma I was having.
