I think the silencer was worth the money. I measured the noise with/without silencer. The Ac Infinity 6” fan is directly connected with duct tape joining the items. A reduced 4” hose is attached and taken to the electronics soldering area on the bench.The exhaust is vented out the window via 6” duct hose.
